Bronx Communities Are Long Overdue
Demand for Bronx Eats programming continues to grow. Schools and families are asking for more frequent distributions, more demos, and more consistent support—and we don’t currently have the funding to meet that need.
Bronx Eats is ready to expand.
We just need more help.
We see it every day: when people have access to nourishing food and the tools to prepare it, everything shifts. Energy improves. Confidence grows. Families feel supported rather than judged. Possibility opens up.
Addressing food insecurity requires more than food alone—it requires education, access, dignity, and trust.

Here’s How Bronx Eats
Helps Bronx Families Thrive
We serve approximately 250–350 students, staff, and parents each month through school-based cooking demonstrations
We distribute an average of 800 pounds of fresh produce per distribution, with some giveaways reaching 1,500–2,000 pounds
Families receive fresh produce directly at their child’s school, making access convenient, consistent, and stigma-free
Students and caregivers learn practical, affordable recipes they can recreate at home—building nutritious habits recipe by recipe
